The 7-year-old gelding Epsilon de Brenil, by Ernest x Lord Z, will find a new home in the US.

We wish the Epsilon de Brenil a great career in the sport with his new owner in the States and we are very thankful to Twin Flame Horses for facilitating the purchase of this talented young horse.

Another show and another performance from Neroli Van’t Klavertje Vier and Bridge Town in the CSI2* Kronenberg from 01-03 July.

Once again, the 10-year-old mare Bridge Town and Mauricio had an awesome weekend in the CSI2* Kronenberg in the Netherlands last weekend 01-03 July. They finished fifth in Friday’s 1m35 speed class and second in Saturday’s 1m35 two phases class.

The 8-year-old gelding Neroli Van’t Klavertje Vier had a great show as well. He got placed in both 1m40 classes.

Again some great results for Mauricio and his horses at the international show in Kronenberg (NL) from 17-20 June.

On Friday, the ten-year-old mare Bridge Town (Calvaro Z x Diamond Lad) won the 1m35 two phases class and finished 7th in Friday’s 1m40 speed class. This mare is really in top shape; only recently she won another CSI in Opglabbeek.

Epsilon de Brenil (Ernest x Lord Z) finished in 7th place in the final for the 7-year-old horses.

Great weekend for Mauricio Ruiz in the CSI2* of Kronenberg with a first place in Saturday’s speed class for 7-year-olds with Epsilon de Brenil. Mauricio was also placed 8th in Sunday’s final for seven-year-old horses with Aquiles del Caribe jumping a lovely double clear. Also clear and placed was Neroli Van’t Klavertje Vier. He finished 13th in the 1m35 two-phases class.

On Thursday, the 13th of May,  they won the 1m35 speed class out of 98 riders and on Saturday the 15th of May, they won the 1m40 two phases class. Great performance from this fantastic mare!

Furthermore, the 8-year-old gelding Neroli Van’t Klavertje Vier was placed seventh on Saturday 15/05 in the 1m35 class.

Our horses performed splendidly at the CSI2* of Opglabbeek from April 29th to May 2nd.

Epsilon de Brenil was clear and placed every day during the weekend in the 7-year-old classes and finished seventh in the final. Huge progress and regularity for this future 1m50 Grand Prix prospect horse.

Bridgetown was also placed fourth in the 1m35 speed class on Friday.

Our next show with the young horses will be the training in Lummen on the 11th and 12th of May on the amazing grass arena so they keep gaining as much experience as possible for their future sport careers.

And for the older horses, we will be present at the CSI2* in Opglabbeek from the 13th to the 16th of May.

Due to the covid pandemic and the EHV horse virus, the showing season started later than planned for our stable.

Nevertheless last weekend 15-18 of April we started with the first official 2021 CSI 2* show in the great facilities of Azelhof Events in Lier, Belgium. All horses improved enormously during the last 4 months from the work at home and they impressed everyone with the great performances they had during the last weekend.

The 10-year-old AES mare Bridge Town was 4th in the 1m30 class on Thursday and finish 4th in the CSI 1* GP.

We are looking forward to the upcoming international show in Opglabbeek on 29/04 – 02/05.

After a very long and taxing six days we are back in Belgium, with the horses quarantining at our new stables in Bocholt.

We would like to thank our team of grooms and drivers who worked tirelessly to look after the horses and do their best to minimize any risk of contracting the EHV-1 Virus, as well as our owners who have been very supportive and understanding in all the decisions we had to take.

We were very disappointed that the beginning of our official jumping season was so abruptly ended and that our horses had to do an unnecessary journey due to a lack of honesty and frankness from the organizers at the Sunshine Tour in Vejer since before we departed for Spain and also during our 3 days traveling.

Hopefully, this unforeseen EHV-1 outbreak gets under control soon and we can go back to doing what we love again. Our thoughts are with all of those whose horses have been affected by this awful strain of the virus and we pray for their swift recovery.

Mauricio Ruiz and Lexi Carter had an amazing first international show this weekend in Bonheiden.

Epsilon de Brenil and Lexi Carter did a great job in the 6 yo classes for the first time together in the show. They were clear and placed, click here for the result.

Aquiles del Caribe was clear every day in his first international show. Click here for the results.

Neroli van’t Klavertje Vier was clear and placed the first two days in the 7 yo classes. He finished sixth on Friday.

Bridgetown was again extremely good! She got placed every single day in the 1m30-35 classes. Click here for the results.

Noble Calippo made his international comeback in the 1m30-35 classes and got placed the first two days. Click here for the results.

Finally, Dakota is also coming back from a long break and he is starting to jump the ranking classes.

Mauricio Ruiz Horses is very pleased with the results of the horses in the first international show this year. This reflects the good work we did with the horses during the pandemic period.

In the last three weeks, all the horses have been jumping great in the Gold League National shows in Belgium!

Centaure du Pommeray at only eight years old is consistently jumping the 1m40 classes with great results and this last weekend in the Gold League in Opglabbeek he easily stepped up to the 1m45 Grand Prix. He’s a horse with a very good mind and lots of scope. That allows him to handle that height with ease and confidence.

Dakota is coming back from the injury he had last year in the CSI-O in Lisbon and is now jumping the 1m40 classes.

Bridgetown (9-year-old mare) is stepping up in the 1m35 classes and has always been very competitive.

Messi (8-year-old gelding) has been very consistent in the 1m35 classes and he will soon step up to the 1m40 classes as well.

Casalo, a 9-year-old gelding, is also stepping up into the 1m35 classes and becoming an easy horse to ride.

Youngsters

The young horses have been successfully competing in the young horse cycles in Belgium with excellent results.

Epsilon de Brenil has successfully been jumping the 6-year-old classes with such ease and giving consistent, good results.

Aquiles del Caribe has only jumped clear rounds since the beginning.

N-Titti has become a lot easier to ride and is stepping up into the 7-year-old circuit.

Neroli van ‘t Klavertje Vier is consistently jumping the 7-year-old cycles with such an easy way that the jumps look smaller on him.
