Dakota in Rotterdam

After 7 years of partnership with Dakota, it is time to say goodbye and wish his new owner Monika Saimovaara all the best of luck with him for many more years to come. We couldn’t have wished for a better home for Dakota. This horse gave Mauricio Ruiz so much joy and allowed him to compete in some of the best shows in the world over the last three years like Rotterdam 5*, La Baule 5*, Valence 5*, Bourg-en-Bresse 4*, La Coruña 4* among others.

We are also thankful for the professionalism of Diaz-Pizano BVBA for the acquisition of the 8-year-old gelding Nero by Cardento. He will continue his career in America. Best of luck with this lovely horse!

From November 5-9, Mauricio competed in the CSI2* of Lier with several horses.

Neroli van’t Klavertje Vier had a pleasant weekend and got placed in two classes from the 7 yo young horses competition. Messi E also had a fantastic show by getting a fourth place in the 1m40 speed class on Friday. Mauricio is very pleased with Dakota because he is getting back with more regularity in the 1m45 ranking classes. He’s looking forward to the upcoming shows in Spain and Belgium.

During these uncertain times, we are very thankful to the organizers of the shows for the effort they are doing in order to keep on going the professional competitions.

Mauricio Ruiz Horses is very pleased with the results of the horses in the first international show this year. This reflects the good work we did with the horses during the pandemic period.

In the last three weeks, all the horses have been jumping great in the Gold League National shows in Belgium!

Centaure du Pommeray at only eight years old is consistently jumping the 1m40 classes with great results and this last weekend in the Gold League in Opglabbeek he easily stepped up to the 1m45 Grand Prix. He’s a horse with a very good mind and lots of scope. That allows him to handle that height with ease and confidence.

Dakota is coming back from the injury he had last year in the CSI-O in Lisbon and is now jumping the 1m40 classes.

Bridgetown (9-year-old mare) is stepping up in the 1m35 classes and has always been very competitive.

Messi (8-year-old gelding) has been very consistent in the 1m35 classes and he will soon step up to the 1m40 classes as well.

Casalo, a 9-year-old gelding, is also stepping up into the 1m35 classes and becoming an easy horse to ride.

Youngsters

The young horses have been successfully competing in the young horse cycles in Belgium with excellent results.

Epsilon de Brenil has successfully been jumping the 6-year-old classes with such ease and giving consistent, good results.

Aquiles del Caribe has only jumped clear rounds since the beginning.

N-Titti has become a lot easier to ride and is stepping up into the 7-year-old circuit.

Neroli van ‘t Klavertje Vier is consistently jumping the 7-year-old cycles with such an easy way that the jumps look smaller on him.
