The seven-year-old Elite du Lys, a recent addition to Mauricio’s stables, has been sold to Colombia.

This future 5* Grand Prix prospect is a seven-year-old gelding by Nervoso x Vondeen. Elite recently joined our stables, but it didn’t take much time before he drew our clients’ attention. Now, he’s sold to one of our loyal clients in Colombia. Mauricio Ruiz Horses wishes mister Restrepo a successful and pleasant ride with this amazing young horse.

Our sincerest congratulations to Alain Vangeebergen and Isabell Thoelen for the acquisition of our future Grand Prix prospect Epsilon de Brenil (Ernest x Lord Z). Nevertheless, he will continue to be ridden and produced by Mauricio Ruiz in order to bring him up to a higher level for further commercialization. We are thankful to have owners like this to work on future projects.

Valkiria del Caribe, daughter of Sitelle de la Pomme (Quidam de Revel x Darco) former daughter of Narcotique de Muze, has recently been sold to Leslie Anne Jenkins, owner of Elevage des Jenkins in France.

Valkiria del Caribe was sold to Adrien Lapley in France at the age of three where he used her as a broodmare. After nine years of breeding with successful foals that were sold at the auctions of Fences, Mauricio Ruiz was able to convince Adrien Lapley to sell his broodmare to Elevage des Jenkins with the help of Alain Van Rickergem to give one the best European mother lines to their breeding. We wish them lots of good foals for the upcoming years!

After the great performance of Messi E at the international show at the beginning of November, Gian Battista Lutta decided to purchase this amazing 8-year-old gelding by Fidgy of Colors. Mauricio Ruiz Horses wishes all the best and loads of success to Gian Battista!

First international show with three clear rounds every day and an eighth place in the final for this amazing 8-year-old gelding by l’Arc de Triomphe and Lexi Carter in the young horse classes for 8-year-olds.

Centaure will have a well-deserved little break and he will reappear in the show ring at the Sun Shine Tour next year. Lots of hope in 2021 for this Grand Prix prospect.

From November 5-9, Mauricio competed in the CSI2* of Lier with several horses.

Neroli van’t Klavertje Vier had a pleasant weekend and got placed in two classes from the 7 yo young horses competition. Messi E also had a fantastic show by getting a fourth place in the 1m40 speed class on Friday. Mauricio is very pleased with Dakota because he is getting back with more regularity in the 1m45 ranking classes. He’s looking forward to the upcoming shows in Spain and Belgium.

During these uncertain times, we are very thankful to the organizers of the shows for the effort they are doing in order to keep on going the professional competitions.

Mauricio Ruiz Horses is very pleased with the results of the horses in the first international show this year. This reflects the good work we did with the horses during the pandemic period.

In the last three weeks, all the horses have been jumping great in the Gold League National shows in Belgium!

Centaure du Pommeray at only eight years old is consistently jumping the 1m40 classes with great results and this last weekend in the Gold League in Opglabbeek he easily stepped up to the 1m45 Grand Prix. He’s a horse with a very good mind and lots of scope. That allows him to handle that height with ease and confidence.

Dakota is coming back from the injury he had last year in the CSI-O in Lisbon and is now jumping the 1m40 classes.

Bridgetown (9-year-old mare) is stepping up in the 1m35 classes and has always been very competitive.

Messi (8-year-old gelding) has been very consistent in the 1m35 classes and he will soon step up to the 1m40 classes as well.

Casalo, a 9-year-old gelding, is also stepping up into the 1m35 classes and becoming an easy horse to ride.

Youngsters

The young horses have been successfully competing in the young horse cycles in Belgium with excellent results.

Epsilon de Brenil has successfully been jumping the 6-year-old classes with such ease and giving consistent, good results.

Aquiles del Caribe has only jumped clear rounds since the beginning.

N-Titti has become a lot easier to ride and is stepping up into the 7-year-old circuit.

Neroli van ‘t Klavertje Vier is consistently jumping the 7-year-old cycles with such an easy way that the jumps look smaller on him.

Over the last two weeks, Mauricio took his horses to the spectacular grass show ring of Lummen for several trainings. From 11-14th June and 18-21st June, the horses learned a lot and are more than ready to start in international shows.

Check out the videos of several trainings on Mauricio’s YouTube channel!
